1. Description of Service
muecal is a personalized music events discovery platform that helps users track upcoming concerts and events for their favorite artists. The service integrates with:
- Spotify (optional) - for accessing your followed artists
- Google (optional) - for account authentication
- Bandsintown - for retrieving real-time event information
2. User Accounts
2.1 Spotify Authentication (Optional)
You may choose to connect your Spotify account to access additional features. By connecting, you authorize us to access your Spotify profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
2.2 Google Authentication (Optional)
You may choose to login with your Google account for authentication. By logging in, you authorize us to access your Google profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
2.3 My Artists Feature
You can use muecal without a Spotify account by manually adding artists to your "My Artists" list.
2.4 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use muecal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malicious code or viruses
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Our Content
The muecal service, including its design, code, and user interface, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
4.2 Third-Party Content
Event data is provided by Bandsintown. Artist information may come from Spotify or Bandsintown. All third-party content is property of their respective owners.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
muecal is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of event information
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That events listed will actually occur
- Availability of tickets for listed events
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, muecal and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the service
- Errors or inaccuracies in event information
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Any other matter relating to the service
7. Third-Party Services
7.1 Spotify
Use of Spotify features is subject to Spotify's Terms of Service .
7.2 Google
Use of Google authentication and services is subject to Google's Terms of Service .
7.3 Bandsintown
Event information is provided by Bandsintown and subject to their terms and conditions.
7.4 Advertising and Affiliate Services
We display advertisements from Google AdSense and participate in the Amazon Associates affiliate program. Your interaction with these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
- Google AdSense: Ads may be personalized based on your interests. You can manage your ad preferences at Google Ad Settings
- Amazon Associates: We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases through Amazon affiliate links at no extra cost to you
