If you choose to connect your Spotify account, we collect:
- Spotify user ID
- Display name

- Profile picture (if available)
1.2 Google Account Information (Optional)
If you choose to login with your Google account, we collect:
- Google user ID
- Display name
- Email address
- Profile picture (if available)
1.3 My Artists Data
We store the following information when you use our "My Artists" feature:
- Artist names you add to your list
- Artist images and information from Bandsintown
- Timestamps of when artists were added
1.4 Session Information
- Session cookies for maintaining your login state
- Language preferences (English or Japanese)
- View mode preferences (mobile or desktop)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide personalized event calendars based on your favorite artists
- Fetch real-time concert and event data from Bandsintown API
- Maintain your login session and user preferences
- Improve our service and user experience
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Spotify: We use your Spotify authentication to access your profile information (with your consent)
- Google: We use your Google authentication to access your profile information (with your consent)
- Bandsintown: We query the Bandsintown API using artist names to retrieve event information
We do NOT share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or other monetization services.
4. Data Retention
- Session Data: Stored only during your active session (24 hours)
- My Artists Data: Retained until you delete artists or request account deletion
- Spotify Data: Access tokens are stored only during your active session

- No storage of Spotify passwords

7.1 How to Delete Your Data
To permanently delete all your data from muecal:
- Log in to your muecal account with Spotify
- Click on the "ποΈ Delete Your Data" link at the bottom of any page
- Review the list of data that will be deleted
- Check the confirmation box to acknowledge that this action cannot be undone
- Click the "Delete My Data" button
- Confirm your decision in the dialog box
Note: This action will permanently delete all your artists, shared calendars, preferences, and account data. You will be immediately logged out and can start fresh by logging in again if you wish to use muecal in the future.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
